Nov July 1st:  we hope to once again attend the Courtenay Canada Day Celebration in Lewis Park.

We are also thinking to try doing some pop-up booths at various Farmer's Markets this summer such as in Campbell River or on Quadra Island.  We may surprise you at a few new locations - do watch for us!

Nature Sightings

How we enjoy the bird life that we see in our backyard, especially the Anna's and Rufus Hummingbirds and it is a special treat to see the occasional Varied Thrush as well.   Looking up is also rewarding as we often see Bald Eagles and Turkey Vultures circling overhead.  Further afield, it seems our best birding spot all winter and spring has been the trails around the Airpark in Courtenay.  You can see so many migrant birds overwintering or passing through.
